Frequently Asked Questions
In order to keep our rates lower, we have a per stay fee rather than increasing the nightly rate. This ensures we have efficient cleaning staff to make sure your stay is comfortable.
Yes, we’re a registered business and submit taxes. The rate in New Brunswick is 15%.
Yes! We have Bell Aliant Fibre Op at both cottages. The internet can support multiple devices, streaming and video chats.

The Sea Breeze cottage has a full-sized bathroom on the main floor with a clawfoot tub and shower attachment. Our guests love the deep tub to soak in before bed.
The Blue Whale Cottage has two bathrooms. One is an ensuite with a shower off the master bedroom. The other bathroom has a shower/bath combo just outside the remaining bedrooms. Both will have soap, shampoos and conditioner for our guests to use if you don’t bring your own.
You sure can! You can sleep with your windows open and hear the waves at high tide, or enjoy them from the deck. We are that close to the water!
Both cottages are equipped with a heat pump and baseboard heat in the bedrooms. The heat pump works as an air conditioner in the summertime. We often find the breeze off the ocean is enjoyable, but the air conditioner is needed when it’s humid.
The Blue Whale has brand new hot tub. It’s under our covered gazebo where you can enjoy the forest view or see the restaurants and sea caves. We will be around to check the chemicals on a regular basis but will give you the privacy you are looking for.
The Blue Whale Cottage is equipped with a propane firepit for the deck. We didn’t have a place to put a wood-burning firepit there without worrying about our neighbours.
The Sea Breeze Cottage has a wood-burning firepit with some wood provided. You will have to bring your own newspaper, kindling and extra wood if you plan to have a fire every evening. We ask that you check the Forest Watch website on the NB Government website to ensure there isn’t a burn ban happening.
Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM sharp. That gives our cleaners enough time to prepare the cottages for our next guests.

We prefer to have our guests turn down music after 10PM and to keep voices down. Morning noise should be kept to a minimum until 8AM. As busy as the area is in the daytime, our nights feel rural and private. It’s the perfect combination!
